Confirmation Retreats
During 7th, 8th, and right before 9th grade, we have a confirmation retreat that is geared towards faith growth, catechetical education, and fellowship. The 7th Grade Retreat occurs each year shortly before confirmation begins. The 8th grade Retreat is a mid-winter fellowship time, and the Faith Statement retreat occurs during the summer before students begin their 9th grade year.


7th Grade Confirmation Retreat 2010:
Dates: August 26-27 at Camp Emmaus in Menahga, MN

This retreat is a group building retreat centered around low ropes, high ropes, challenges, and some good old fashioned hanging out together time! We have a blast getting to know one another, challenging ourselves, and asking some of our toughest questions about God as we prepare to begin confirmation!

8th Grade Confirmation Retreat 2011:
The 8th Grade Retreat will be a chance to see different ways of worshiping God! We will visit a variety of different worship spaces and services and have a chance to talk to leaders of different faith traditions.

9th Grade Faith Statement Retreat 2010:
Dates: June 10-11 2010

During this retreat our confirmands began their final work on completing their statement of faith which will be presented to the congregation prior to services throughout September and October. This Retreat was held at Luther Crest Bible Camp in Alexandria where we had many adventures, including a night hike, campfire, and more.
